They are still beating AAA as far as sheer numbers go....

Mexican Luchadora Ludark Shaitan

This is female luchador Ludark Shaitan (or LuDarK ShAiTAN as I think she likes to spell it).
Like most masked wrestlers, we don't know what her real name is, but we do know that she was born on June 19th, 1992 and that her cousin is fellow luchadora Lady Shani.
Ludark was trained by some pretty famous luchadors including Dr. Karonte, Platino, El As and Silver King and she made her lucha libre debut in March of 2010.
She has worked for Mexican wrestling promotions Desastre Total Ultraviolento (DTU) and Lucha Libre Femenil (LLF).
So far the only titles she has held is the Campeonato Mixto XMW (I think with Sick Boy).
Ludark is five foot five and weighs 145 pounds.

Although she was born in Laredo Texas, luchadora Sexy Flor was trained by Escarlata Rojo, El Albañil and Maravilla Lopez, and made her wrestling debut on July 12th, 2009 at the Palenque de Expomex in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.
She wrestles mostly in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
In October of 2016, Sexy Flor was at the WWE tryouts at the WWE Performance Center.
You never know.....

Irma Gonzalez Luchadora

One of the most popular women on this blog is Mexican luchadora Irma Gonzalez.
Irma wrestled mainly in Mexico but did do some work for World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in the Dallas and Fort Worth area.
She often teamed with Irma Aguilar.

Diana la Cazadora Luchadora

Diana La Cazadora was born on January 16, 1978 in Madero, Tamaulipas.
She made her wrestling debut in 1997, and is still going strong.
Diana has worked for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), and on th Mexican independent circuit for promotions like Lucha Libre Femenil.

The Top Ten Moves of Lady Jaguar

Here is a video posted by the Lucha Libre Femenil wrestling promotion of the top ten moves of Lady Jaguar aka "Felina Sexy".
As I have said before, Jaguar may be small (four foot nine and weighs 108), but that doesn't stop her a bit.
As the late Gordon Solie would say, she is "double-tough".
You will notice in some of these clips that she is masked, and that was before she lost her mask in 2014 in a match with Alicia at Arena Matamoros.

Female Luchador Tiffany

Here are some shots of beautiful luchadora Tiffany.
Tiffany is 43 and still going strong since her debut back in 1993.
Yes she has been wrestling for 23 years.
Tiffany has worked for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA), Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and on the Indy circuit as well.

Mexican Luchadora Candy White

When I first did a write up on masked luchadora Candy White she was just known as Candy.
But evidently she has added White to her ring name now.
I know....thank you Captain Obvious.
But anyway here are a few more shots of the young lady trained by Dinamo (Dynamo), Sombra Blanca (White Shade) and Arkangel de la Muerte (Arkangel of the Death).

Taya Valkyrie - Lucha Underground

As you may know, Canadian former model, fitness competitor and luchadora Taya Valkyrie (Kira Renee Forster) will appear this year on Lucha Underground as valet of Johnny Mundo.
Valet?
Really?
The Asistencia Asesoría y Administración AAA Reina de Reinas Champion and Luchadora of the Year in 2014 and 2015 is gonna be a valet?
Well...I have total faith in Lucha Underground and I am very sure that she will be wrestling in the ring before very long.

Interestingly, Taya is replacing former WWE Diva Melina Perez who was supposed to be Johnny Mundo's valet.
One rumor says that Melina was let go because she was too difficult.
Another says it was because the WWE had already done that.

But how awesome would a Taya/Melina feud have been?

Ivelisse Velez vs Taya Valkyrie - YouTube Female Wrestling

Here are two of the hottest women in wrestling today, Ivelisse "Huntress" Velez and Taya Valkyrie going at it in a match in Mexico.
Who knows...maybe we will get to see a replay of this on Lucha Underground this season. Interestingly, though they are both luchadoras, Ivelisse was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and Taya was born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
Proving that Lucha Libre really is international.

La Chacala - The Most Popular Luchadora here in 2015

Yeah I get a lot of snide comments when I do a post on luchadora La Chacala.
"She's fat."
"She's ugly."
"She's a beast." (Though actually in some circles that is considered a compliment.)
But last year, La Chacala was the most popular female luchador here, even beating popular wrestlers like Taya Valkyrie and Sexy Star.
This five foot ten lady that could break most WWE Divas and TNA Knockouts in two started wrestling in 1998.
Yes she has been wrestling for 17 years.
Without a doubt, she is still popular among fans.
And she is still an engine of destruction inside and outside of the ring.
