I really couldn't find out much about Freedom, but from the looks of her, I'm pretty sure she has a bodybuilding background.

Masked Luchadoras - Part 16

Rosa Negra (Black Rose) was born on January 23rd, 1972 in Mexico City, Mexico.
Before wrestling as Rosa Negra, she worked for awhile as La Andromeda.
Her real name is Jessica Dayna Hernandez and she is married to Enemigo Publico.
She was trained by Ringo Mendoza, Charrito de Oro and Maria del Angel, and made her Lucha Libre debut in 1992.
On April 12th, 2009, she lost her mask to Marcela in a match at Arena Mexico.

Samantha (Maria Elena Salazar Durante) was trained by luchador Pequeño Diamante
She lost her mask to Martha Villalobos on March 7th, 1999 at Palenque de Nuevo in Laredo.

La Seductora was trained by Chico Hernandez, Arturo Beristain and Ultimo Guerrero, and made her Lucha Libre debut on September 17th, 1991.
She wrestled in the tournament for the Mexican National Women's Wrestling Championship and wrestles for CMLL (Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre).

Masked Luchadoras - Part 6

Looking like she walked right off the set of a 50's Sci-Fi movie is luchadora La Faraona (the Lady Pharoah, not to be confused with Mexican singer Lola Flores) .
She made her pro wrestling debut in January 13th, 1989 so I know she really wasn't in a 50s B-movie.


Princesa Yara's sister, luchadora La Felina (not Gail Kim). Now she has one of those well designed lucha libre masks I really like.

Luchadora Flor de Loto (Lotus Flower) was trained by luchadors El Vasco and Blue Star, and made her pro wrestling debut on February 8th, 1989.

Very popular luchadora Marcela (María Elena Santamaría Gómez) was born on May 31st, 1971, in Mexico City, Mexico.
She was trained by luchadores Panchito Villalobos, Rafael Salamanca, Franco Colombo, Jose Luis Feliciano, Satanico and Fantastik.
Marcela made her Lucha Libre debut in December of 1985 in Actopan, Hidalgo.
She has held the Distrito Federal Women's Championship, the CMLL World Women's Championship and the Mexican National Women's Championship.
Marcela is five foot one and weighs 130 pounds.

Another " old school " luchadora I couldn't find out much about, La Valentina.
Except that she reminds me a little of the Fabulous Moolah.
It appears that as of 2010, there is another La Valentina wrestling in the indy Mexican promotions.
Although, with the long life some luchadoras have in the ring, it could be the same one.

Paty Rey (Patty Rey) used to wrestle as Vampiresa, until she lost her mask to Shira.

Luchadora Zuleyma was born on January 13th, 1964 somewhere in Mexico.
Zuleyma is the wife of Kato Kung Lee Jr., the daughter-in-law of Kato Kung Lee Sr. and the older sister of Miss Janeth.
She was trained by El Enfermero, Antonio Camargo and Indio Yoko, and made her lucha libre debut on March 11, 1979 at the Arena Nezahualcoyotl in Mexico State.
During her wrestling career she held the Mexican National Women's Championship (twice), the UWA World Women's Championship, the WWA World Women's Championship and the Mexico State Women's Championship.

Luchadora - La Amapola

Luchadora La Amapola was born Guadalupe Olvera on September 9, 19?? in Distrito Federal, Mexico.
She was trained by luchadors Insolito, Satanico, Memo Diaz, Adonis Salazar and Jose Luis Feliciano, and made her Lucha Libre debut in December of1997 at Arena Neza in Netzahualcoyotl, Mexico.
La Amapola wrestled masked until 2006, when she lost her mask to Dark Angel (Sarah Stock) in a match at Arena Mexico.
She is five foot three and weighs 130 pounds.
La Amapola has held the CMLL World Women's Championship, the IWRG Intercontinental Women's Championship and was named the CMLL Female wrestler of the year in 2009.
